b. Use of Camera and Images in-App:

  • For our services to function, Ride Blue requires access to specific functions of your device, including the camera. Depending on the operating system installed, users must explicitly grant or revoke permissions on a case-by-case basis. Any data accessed within these permissions is strictly used for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy. Access to the camera feature is essential for scanning the vehicle's QR code for rental purposes, and it may also be needed to verify driving licenses and user identities.

  • Users have the option to add a photo to their user profile at their discretion. Any data accessed within the scope of authorizations will solely be utilized for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy.

c. Photographic Information:

  • Upon completing each ride, we may request a photographic image of the vehicle's parking place. We keep this image on record to verify that the vehicle has been parked safely and appropriately.

  • Within the app, we utilize the camera permission to enable scanning QR codes of scooters and capturing end-ride photos. The end-ride photo is stored on our servers for analysis of parking behaviour.
